My Planning History
I began my career in planning at Eastbourne Borough Council in 2003, before moving to Wealden District Council in 2007. During my time there I held senior roles and achieved my Masters in Planning in 2009, becoming a Chartered Town Planner in 2016.
With over 20 years of experience, I have managed a diverse range of applications and appeals, from simple householder developments to major housing schemes and everything in between. One of the most visible projects I've worked on is the Polegate Wind Turbines, which you might recognize from the photo.
I founded Stonefields to assist individuals and businesses in navigating the planning system successfully. My goal is to provide high-quality, efficient advice and services at an accessible price to ensure everyone can get professional support to give their ideas the best possible chance of success.
I am committed to living sustainably and am actively working towards becoming more self-sufficient in food and energy. This personal journey reflects my dedication to environmental stewardship and my belief in the importance of sustainable living.
When I'm not immersed in planning work, you can find me fishing and foraging along the Sussex shoreline, tending to my allotments, fulfilling my role as a local Scout Leader, or enjoying the beautiful Sussex countryside with the dog.
